A quick friendly wave over to our neighbors who are putting up a tent. Later, a quick chat with the question of how it’s going. Afterwards, we see each other before sunrise in front of the camp gate, where we wait until we are allowed to drive out into the wilderness.

The two South Africans are keen wildlife watchers. They note down their animal observations and mark them with dots. For example, a sleeping lion only gets 1 point, but a hunting lion gets 5 points.
