VW T2 Westfalia

Our first camper van was a VW T2 with Westfalia conversion. We often used it to travel to the south of France, but also, as in the following pictures, to Greece, specifically to the Peloponnese peninsula. At that time, there were only rudimentary maps and these were only available in Greek. But it was an impressive journey that we still remember very well today.

Through the Erimanthos Mountains in the interior of the Peloponnese.

That was pure romance and adventure for those days. Today, of course, we regret that we sold the Bulli – it would have been absolutely “in” again – but back then people still believed in progress!
