Springbok – Cape Town<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

January 5, 2022 – we cross the border into South Africa. After a short stay in Springbok, we drive the 700 km on the paved and well-developed N7 to the greater Cape Town area, to Breckenfell, to MAN Truck & Bus, where we have the agreed repairs and maintenance work carried out.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Boschendal to Vergelegen<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

As we have to wait a week for the air valves to repair our swing seats, we decide to visit a few wineries near Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. We are treated to exceptionally good food – especially where we didn’t necessarily expect it: at the “Muratie” winery, one of the oldest wineries.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

At the destination – Cape Town<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

After about two and a half years of traveling and over 40,000 km, we reach our destination of Cape Town. The tension drops – we have reached our destination. Our feelings are indefinable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

After reaching our big destination of Cape Town, we slowly bob along towards the northeast, make a few more visits, park our MAN in Johannesburg and fly to Switzerland on March 2, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
